    Mosapride citrate (AS-4370 citrate) is a gastroprokinetic agent that acts as a selective 5HT4 agonist; accelerates gastric emptying throughout the whole of the gastrointestinal tract invivo, and is used for the treatment of gastritis, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, functional dyspepsia and irritable bowel syndrome.Other Indication Phase 2 Clinical.
  • In Vitro
    Mosapride (0.3-30 μM) exhibits an inhibitory activity against Kv4.3 with an IC50 of 15.2 μM in a concentration-dependent manner. Mosapride also inhibits the open state of Kv4.3 currents during depolarization and accelerates the closed-state inactivation at subthreshold potentials.

    Mosapride (Intravenous injection;0.3-3 mg/kg) dose-dependently increases the antral motor activity in conscious dogs which indicates that mosapride selectively stimulates upper gastrointestinal motility. Animal Model:Beagle dogsDosage:0.3-3 mg/kgAdministration:Intravenous injection; 0.3-3 mg/kg Result:Increased the antral motor activity dose-dependently in conscious dogs.
